    • Additional Adjustments to include:
    Further to how Undergrounds made Eames an angrier person than he was going in, Deerington really took that and cranked it up to 5,000. Eames spent essentially 2 years on the precipice of a full existential meltdown, (whether it’s a good thing that it was ultimately averted is up for debate,) which made him more withdrawn and somehow even angrier. Being home for a short while has tempered that somewhat, but it’s still a significant change to his baseline that he has to work through.


    Deer Country Attributes


    • Canon Powers: As outlined in his original application, though I would, if acceptable, like for him to regain the abilities that Deerington closed off to him. So he would regain the ability to undo a witch’s spell with their true name, mix potions and enchant items, and see memories through touch.

    My current plan is for being in Trench to give Eames the push to experiment with his magic, since up until this point he’s not cared much about it outside the skills that come naturally to him. Potentially even moving toward becoming a Disciple in some way. Because there’s a lot of overlap between the powers he has and what a Darkblood can do, the two should essentially come to meld and compliment eachother.

    That’s all to say, he’ll at least start with a fairly competent idea how to use his blood powers. He won’t be able to do much with them because it’s something Eames will have to choose to explore, but he already uses his telekinesis and his illusions quite freely and I think it’d be fun to have that as his jumping off point with a little small-scale altering time just to be… Incredibly inconvenient. Extremely localised and small pockets of sped-up or slowed down time. Imagine trying to move your coffee and it’s cold by the time it gets to your hands. Absolutely dreadful.
