Right. [She walks just a little bit behind him, keeping her wolf close. Rather, he keeps Nancy close, nearly hovering over her. He doesn't like Eames. Huh. Wonder why that could be.]
And you're going to tell me. I'm not letting you get away with it.
It's been a long day. [He glances at her as they get to his door, dropping the wards first and then unlocking the door.] You should worry less.
[He steps aside for Nancy, but gives her a look for that wolf. She can summon him again when she leaves, but Eames isn't having something that's been acting so hostile toward him in his home.]
It’s that. Blood-drinking undead. [They remind him very unpleasantly of Northrend, of the war against the Lich King...he knows that he’d decided to follow Eames’ lead and all, but his hand is straying to the weapon on his back.]
This is some sort of ritual you were a part of? Unwillingly? [That much seems certain, at least.]
[Eames tilts his head, thoughtful for a few moments. "Come, monsieur! Let us not let this bounty go to waste!" Jean-Claude says on stage once he's had his fill and Eames puffs out a breath, watching himself on stage as he stares the third man down, murmurs goading words even as he's held still.]
This was a... [Eames glances aside, frowning as he hears his own voice cry out in pain when Raymond bites him on the other side of his neck. Sudden and sharp.] A complicated situation.
A complicated situation. [He repeats it in a slightly incredulous tone. The cry from other-Eames makes his mouth twitch, frown becoming even deeper. He gives the bar around them a quick glance, confirming that no one’s paying attention to them, before pitching his voice lower.]
I doubt that intervening will change what has happened in the waking world. But no one would blame you for taking this...opportunity for revenge. [His hand is gripping the hilt of his saif. Eyes burning into Eames. If he wants to start a fight, then Saurfang is in.]
[He's let this go too long. Way too long. So long, in fact, the idea of doing this fills him with such powerful anxiety that he is physically repulsed by his Fluid. This text is months overdue and the longer he puts it off the harder it is to send. So maybe he shouldn't send it at all. But he should, he has to! God, fuck!]
Hey.
I just wanted to say I'm sorry for coming at you in February. It wasn't about you, I got bit by one of those flower rats and lost it a little. If it's all the same I'd like to pretend that didn't happen.
Thank you, by the way, for having my back in the lab. I wasn't in a good place and you were kind when you didn't have to be. I appreciate it.

Help?
@nancy
[He's not having this!! It's rude and he doesn't want it.]
We can argue about it when we get indoors.

[She leads her wolf, whom she had been calling Bill, down the street, still holding her knife and her light.] My place's close.

[Eames frowns as he watches himself being drunk from onstage, glancing aside at the guy next to him at the query.]
I don't know what that is.

[he is absolutely not gonna pretend it never happened though. he'd have to be a fool to let go of such good ammo.]

Thanks.
I never thought I was such an easy target for this crap.
You're sure we're good?

As long as you're not still planning to kill me for the crime of having friends, I'm sure.
